Cozy Whole-Home Remodel in Holiday

This whole-home remodeling project in Holiday, Florida began with a family preparing to move into their newly purchased home. Their goal was to transform the house into a cozy retreat with features that were fun, distinctive and functional for everyday living.

Warm knotty alder cabinetry, charcoal PaperStone countertops and rustic 4×4 backsplash tile brought natural texture and character into the home's new design.

One of the project's most personalized features was a custom-built entertainment center designed around the homeowner's significant book collection. Integrated shelving surrounds the stone fireplace and creates dedicated space for the collection, while the center of the feature accommodates a Samsung Frame TV with an ornate antique-style gold frame.

The result is a home with considerably more personality — one designed not simply around finishes, but around the people who live there and the things they enjoy.
