Whole-Home Remodeling

Home Res-Q coordinates substantial remodeling projects involving multiple areas of an existing home. Rather than treating each improvement as an unrelated project, we plan connected spaces together as one overall scope. We’ve served Tampa Bay-area homeowners since 2004.

Plan it together

Plan the Home as One Connected Project

When several areas of a home need improvement, planning them together can help create a more cohesive remodeling scope. How spaces relate to one another, the finishes across connected areas, the kitchens and bathrooms, the flooring, the cabinetry, the countertops and the overall function all work together when they’re considered as one project.

  • How spaces relate to one another
  • Finishes across connected areas
  • Kitchens and bathrooms
  • Flooring
  • Cabinetry
  • Countertops
  • Overall function

One plan, multiple spaces

One Remodeling Plan Across Multiple Spaces

Considering connected improvements as one coordinated project helps the home come together as a single space rather than a set of separate updates. The project scope, layout relationships, finish coordination, flooring transitions, cabinetry, surfaces and the overall sequencing all factor in at a high level.

  • Project scope
  • Layout relationships
  • Finish coordination
  • Flooring transitions
  • Cabinetry
  • Surfaces

Major components

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling Within a Larger Renovation

Kitchens and bathrooms are often major components of a whole-home remodeling project. Planning them alongside the other areas being improved keeps the finishes, layout and function consistent across the home.

The spaces between

Renovating the Spaces Between

A whole-home remodel also involves the interior living areas that connect everything — connected living spaces, flooring carried across rooms, interior finishes, and cabinetry or storage where it applies.

Not every substantial interior project needs to involve the entire home. Interior renovations that cover one or several interior spaces, rather than the whole home, are addressed separately.

Questions

Whole-Home Remodeling FAQ

What is considered a whole-home remodel?

A whole-home remodel involves substantial coordinated remodeling across multiple areas or connected spaces of an existing home, planned and carried out as one overall project. Home Res-Q does not define it by a fixed number of rooms.

Does Home Res-Q remodel multiple rooms as one project?

Yes. Coordinating remodeling across multiple spaces as one project is part of what Home Res-Q does. We review the project type, scope and location before scheduling the next step.

Can kitchen and bathroom remodeling be included in a whole-home renovation?

Yes. Kitchens and bathrooms can be major components of a whole-home remodeling project, planned alongside the other areas being improved.

What if I only want to renovate part of the interior?

Not every substantial interior project needs to involve the entire home. Interior renovations that cover one or several interior spaces, rather than the whole home, are addressed on our Interior Renovations page.

Does Home Res-Q handle flooring, cabinets and countertops as part of a larger remodel?

Yes. Flooring, cabinetry and countertops can be included as part of a larger coordinated remodeling project, alongside kitchen, bathroom and interior improvements.

Does Home Res-Q take on small handyman or repair projects?

No. Handyman work, plumbing-only projects, tile repair and other isolated repair-only requests are not a fit for our services. We take on remodeling projects, not standalone repair work.

How do I know whether my home is in the service area?

Home Res-Q qualifies remodeling projects by location and scope. When you request a consultation, we confirm whether your home is within our remodeling service area.
